Before uploading your PDF to create a paper form, we have a few recommendations that will optimize your PDF so that Script can best support it.

First, be sure to remove any security measures that may be tied to your PDF, such as redacted text or password protection.

Depending on how the PDF was created or edited, there can sometimes be data that does not visibly appear on the PDF but can still interfere with the transition into a functional paper form in Script.

To remove this "invisible" data,

flattening your PDF

and

removing any interactive content

will help to alleviate potential issues. There are many free PDF tools online that can help you make these adjustments to your PDF.

You are now ready to upload your PDF and create your paper form.
