Who Can Do This?

  • Dashboard Users

  • Owners

Teams are a great way to manage access to certain forms or workflows for a specific group of users.

Let's first take a look at what dashboard users and owners can do with teams before becoming a team member or team owner.

Without being a team member or team owner, a dashboard user can:

  • View a team's Overview

  • Request to join a team

Without being a team member or team owner, someone with owner level access can:

  • View a team's Overview

  • Request to join a team

  • Create a team

  • Add or remove team owners of all teams

  • Add or remove team members of all teams

  • Update any team's banner

  • Update any team's name, description, or color

  • Delete any team

Dashboard users and owners can both become team members or team owners of a team. Once a dashboard user or owner becomes a team owner or team member, their access changes.

When someone becomes a team member, they can:

  • View forms or workflows of that team

  • Add forms or workflows to that team

When someone becomes a team owner, they can:

  • View forms or workflows of that team

  • Add forms or workflows to that team

  • Add or remove owners of that team

  • Add or remove members of that team

  • Change that team's name, description, or color

Use this information to decide who in your organization should have what kind of access within Script and within individual teams. Look in our other Knowledge Base Articles to learn more about how to utilize the many functions within teams.
